Update: The above neon cry, in front of Berlin's Deutsches Theater, is of course a quote from Goethe's 'Faust' (as was kindly pointed out to me - tnx Mart). Here's the context and translation:

Werd ich zum Augenblicke sagen:
Verweile doch! du bist so schön!
Dann magst du mich in Fesseln schlagen,
Dann will ich gern zugrunde gehn!

If to the fleeting hour I say
'Remain, so fair thou art, remain!'

Are you going to write something about the ancient Inca and Maya culture when you return? There's a lot to find out about their methods and behaviour.

Well, i'm back and sorting out ridiculous amounts of photos. Will def write about precolonial culture, which was mostly Aztec where i went. Fascinating if only for their tongue twisting gods like Quetzalcoatl and Huitzilopochtli.
